Vintage Dreams

This Tutorial is written using PSP 9 cause it's my favourite, but can be done in other versions!

All my Tutorials are written for beginners. If you are a more experienced PSP'er, please feel to skip ahead any steps you like and forgive the longer explanations and steps.
All of my tutorials were created by me and any similarity to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Please do not post them on another site, rewrite and claim them as yours or pass around through email groups.

Let's get Started!

1. New Image > 650 Width, 650 Height, Transparent.
Flood Fill White.

2. Open miz11-vintagedreams-27.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Flip.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 75%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

3. Open miz11-vintagedreams-09.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 45 Degrees Right.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 60%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.
Place to the lower right side of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

4. Activate the Frame Layer.
Using your Magic Wand Tool, click inside the frame.
Selections > Modify > Expand by 8.
Open Paper 3.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Selections > Select None.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.

5. Open close up tube of your choice.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Place to your liking, resize if necessary.
Set Blend Mode to Luminance(Legacy).
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

6. Open miz11-vintagedreams-02.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 40%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the right side of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

7. Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.
Place slightly to the right of the first one.

8. Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 90 Degrees Left.
Place to the bottom of your image.

9. Edit > Paste As New Layer (the flowers should still be on your clipboard). Image > Flip.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 60%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the right side of your image.
Erase the top half.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

10. Open miz11-vintagedreams-10.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 30%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower left of your image.
Move the Layer Down under the flowers.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

11. Open miz11-vintagedreams-24.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 25 Degrees Left.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.

12. Using your Magic Wand Tool, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard,
click inside each of the four frames.
Open Paper 3.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.
Keep Selected.

13. Open your first tube.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Place to your liking.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

14. Repeat step 13 for each of the four frames.
You can use just one tube, or a different tube for each frame.
I used three different tubes, and I set the Blend mode for
two tubes to Luminance (Legacy).
Selections > Select None.

Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Flip.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 40%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

16. Open miz11-vintagedreams-32.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 30%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

17. Open miz11-vintagedreams-03.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 30%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the center of the bow.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

18. Open miz11-vintagedreams-12.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 25%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the upper left of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 25, Blur 2, Color Black.

19. Open miz11-vintagedreams-20.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 80%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the bottom of your image.

20. Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Flip.
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom.
Layers > Arrange > Move Up.

21. Add any other elements you like.
Add your name, watermark and copyright information.

Resize to your liking, save and we're done!
