High Tides

This Tutorial is written using PSP 9 cause it's my favourite, but can be done in other versions!

All my Tutorials are written for beginners. If you are a more experienced PSP'er, please feel to skip ahead any steps you like and forgive the longer explanations and steps.
All of my tutorials were created by me and any similarity to other tutorials is purely coincidental.

Let's get Started!

1. New Image > 650 Width, 650 Height, Transparent.
Flood Fill White.

2. Open Paper 3.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Radius 20.
Effect > Texture Effects > Blinds >
Width 2, Opacity 40, Color #358495, Horizontal checked, Light from left/top checked.

3. Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

4. Selections > Select All.
selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Open your tube.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Place to your liking.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Selections > Select None.
Set the Blend Mode to Soft Light.

5. Open miz11-hightides-ele22.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 85%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

6. Open miz11-hightides-ele23.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 70%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the bottom of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

7. Open miz11-hightides-ele16.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 90 Degrees Right.
Place to the right side of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

8. Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.

9. Open miz11-hightides-ele06.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 90 Degrees Right.
Place to the right side of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

10. Open miz11-hightides-ele17.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 75 Degrees Right.
Place to the right side of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

11. Open miz11-hightides-ele11.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Mirror.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 30%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

12. Open miz11-hightides-ele15.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 20%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the upper right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

13. Open miz11-hightides-ele21.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 50%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

14. Open miz11-hightides-ele10.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Mirror.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 20%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the lower right of your image.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

15. Open your tube.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Place to your liking, resize if necessary.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.

16. Add any other elements you like.
Add your name, watermark and copyright information.

17. Activate the top paper layer.
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise.
Add Noise > 8% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Edit > Copy Merged.

18. Open Animation Shop.
Edit > Paste > Paste As New Animation.

19. Back into PSP.
Undo Add Noise.
Add Noise > 9% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Edit > Copy Merged.

20. In Animation Shop again.
Edit > Paste > Paste After Current Frame.

21. Back into PSP.
Undo Add Noise.
Add Noise > 10% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Edit > Copy Merged.

22. In Animation Shop.
Edit > Paste > Paste After Current Frame.

23. Resize to your liking, save and we're done!
