EMOtionally Yours

This Tutorial is written using PSP 9 cause it's my favourite, but can be done in other versions!

All my Tutorials are written for beginners. If you are a more experienced PSP'er, please feel to skip ahead any steps you like and forgive the longer explanations and steps.
All of my tutorials were created by me and any similarity to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Please do not post them on another site, rewrite and claim them as yours or pass around through email groups.

Let's get Started!

1. Open 2emoliciousTempplate.
Duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.
Delete Raster Layers 8, 10, 4, 9 and Copy of 9.

2. Activate Raster Layer 6.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Set your Foreground Color to #b66df3 and your Background Color to #ee61c9.
Set your Foreground to Gradient > Foreground-Background, Style Linear, Angle 90, Repeats 3.
Flood Fill new layer with gradient.
Selections > Select None.
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > 12% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds >
Width 3, Opacity 40, Color #e84093, Horizontal checked, Light from Left/top checked.
Repeat Blinds, this time with Horizontal unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Delete Raster Layer 6.

3. Activate the bottom Copy of Raster 6 Layer.
Repeat Step 2.

4. Activate the top Copy of Raster 6 Layer.
Layers > Merge > Merge Down.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Change your Foreground Color to #ee61c9 and you Background to #f99ddf.
With your Foreground on Gradient with the same settings as before, Flood Fill the new layer.
Selections > Select NOne.
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > 12% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Effects > Texture Effects > Weave >
Gap Size 1, Width 6, Opacity 1, Weave Color White, Gap Color White, Fill Gaps checked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Delete Copy of Raster Layer 6.

5. Activate the Copy of Raster 5 Layer.
Layers > Merge > Merge Down.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Open Paper 15.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Keep Selected!

6. Selections > Invert.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 4.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill White.
Keep Selected!

7. Selections > Modify > Contract by 2.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Selections > Select None.
Layers > Merge > Merge Down.
Repeat Merge Layer Down.
Delete Raster 9 Layer.

8. Activate Raster Layer 9 (should be the layer we just did with the paper)
Layers > Duplicate.
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Radius 5.00.
Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic Antique at the Default settings.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.

9. Activate Raster 2 Layer.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Set your Foreground Color to #ee61c9 and you Background to #f99ddf.
With your Foreground on Gradient with the same settings as before, Flood Fill the new layer.
Selections > Select None.
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > 12% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Effects > Texture Effects > Weave >
Gap Size 1, Width 6, Opacity 1, Weave Color White, Gap Color White, Fill Gaps checked.
Delete the Raster 2 Layer.

10. Activate Raster 5 Layer.
Layers > Duplicate.
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Radius 10.00.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic Antique at the Default settings.
Selections > Select None.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.

11. Activate the Raster 3 Layer.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Selections > Modify > Expand by 4.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill white.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 8.
Open Paper 10.
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Selections > Invert.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Selections > Select None.
Delete the Raster 3 layer.

12. Activtate the Raster 7 Layer.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill White.
Selections > Select None.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 60, Blur 2, Color #dd2595.
Delete the Raster 7 Layer.

13. Open DBS_WordArt01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 85%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Place to the bottom of your image.
Selections > Select All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill White.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 4.
Set your Foreground Color to #ee61c9 and you Background to #f99ddf.
Flood Fill With your Foreground on Gradient with the same settings as before.
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > 12% Uniform, Monochrome checked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel > with these settings >



Delete the DBS_WordArt01 Layer (should be Raster 7).

14. Activate the top (wordart) layer.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 60, Blur 2, Color #dd2595.

15. Open DBS_Bow01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Flip.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 35%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 25 Degrees Right.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place to the upper right corner of your image.

16. Open DBS_Bow_n_Wrap01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 25%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 45 Degrees Left.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place to the upper right corner of your image.

17. Open DBS_BarbedWireHeart01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 15%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place to the upper right corner of your image.

18. Open DBS_medi_kandigurl8.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 60%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place on the top of the wordart.

19. Open DBS_Glasses.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 25%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 25 Degrees Right.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place over the girl's hand.
Layers > Arrannge > Move Down.

20. Open DBS_EmoKitty01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 30%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place on the top of the wordart, above the 'ous'.

21. Open DBS_Sneakers01.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Mirror.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 20%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place to the lower right of your image.

22. Open DBS_medi_purplpashunz2.png
Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste As New Layer.
Image > Resize.
Resize by 40%, Smart Size, Resize all layers unchecked.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 20, Blur 2, Color Black.
Place to the lower left of your image.

23. Add any other elements you like.
Add your name, watermark and copyright information.

Resize to your liking, save and we're done!
